Estimates and Quotations, Terms and Conditions

  1. Estimates and quotations

    All estimates and quotations issued by Coleman Electrical and Security Ltd are prepared using the information available at the time of issue and are subject to site conditions and client-supplied information. Estimates are indicative only. Quotations are based on the agreed scope of works and may be subject to variation where unforeseen conditions, inaccurate or incomplete information, or changes to scope arise. No estimate or quotation shall be deemed a fixed price unless expressly stated in writing as a Fixed Price Quotation.

  2. Pricing basis

    Prices are calculated based on information supplied by the client, visual inspections where applicable, and reasonable assumptions regarding existing site conditions. Prices may be revised where information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete.

  3. Validity

    All estimates and quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

  4. Acceptance

    Acceptance of an estimate or quotation, whether verbally, electronically, or in writing, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and forms a binding contract.

  5. Scope of works

    Only the works, materials, and services specifically described are included. Any work outside the stated scope will be treated as a variation and charged accordingly.

  6. Dates and delays

    Dates and timeframes are estimates only. The company shall not be liable for delays caused by factors outside its reasonable control.

  7. Client-supplied materials

    No liability is accepted for faults, incompatibility, delays, or failures caused by materials or equipment supplied by the client. Additional visits or reinstallation are chargeable.

  8. Guarantees

    New installations are guaranteed for 12 months and repairs for 30 days, subject to full payment being received. These guarantees are in addition to statutory rights.

  9. Deposits and payments

    A 35 percent deposit is payable upon acceptance. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced or materials have been ordered. Final payment is due immediately upon completion and may not be withheld due to the posting or threatened posting of online reviews.

  10. Online reviews

    Clients agree to provide the company with a reasonable opportunity to resolve concerns before publishing public reviews. Action may be taken where reviews are demonstrably false, misleading, or defamatory.

  11. Governing law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
